PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY
School Age – All school-age boys and girls at least 8 years of age. All prospective team members will be assessed to determine readiness since not everyone is ready to shoot and compete at age 8. It will be the decision of the head coach if shooters are ready to practice and compete.
Pistol divisions begin in grade 6
Rifle division can be in lower grades, if the athlete can handle the firearm.
Collegiate – Open to all students enrolled in a post-secondary school as a full time student
EQUIPMENT
(Team members may shoot Pistol and/or Rifle)
Semi-Automatic Pistol – rimfire – 22lr
Iron sights
– 5 Magazines (6 magazines are preferred)
Semi-Automatic Pistol – centerfire – 9mm
Iron sights
– 5 Magazines (6 magazines are preferred)
Semi-Automatic Rifle – rimfire – 22lr
Optic sights
– 5 Magazines (6 magazines are preferred)
Eye Protection
Ear Protection
Range Bag or Box for the Firearm
Ammunition is also the responsibility of each athlete. Most athletes shoot around 4,000 to 6,000 rounds per season.
